MIAMI, FL—CUBAHORA, a new one-hour radio program on U.S.-Cuba relations, will premiere on Tuesday, April 19th at 12pm ET on Univision America’s WQBA 1140 AM with an exclusive 40-minute interview with former U.S. Secretary of Commerce and current chair of the Albright Stonebridge Group, Carlos Gutierrez.
Hosted by Univision news reporter José Alfonso Almora and with commentary by #CubaNow’s Ric Herrero, CUBAHORA will feature news and analysis on the major topics and current events that are defining this new era of normalization between the United States and Cuba. It will also feature one-on-one interviews and panel discussions with a variety of experts and stakeholders from both the Cuban-American community and the Island.
How much progress has been made since December 17th? What role is the Cuban diaspora playing in the Island’s present and future? Who are the faces of Cuba’s rising entrepreneurial sector? How do we address our differences and build trust after years of separation? With respect to the past and an eye toward the future, CUBAHORA is set to explore the road ahead in this exciting new era of diplomatic relations.
